Sustainability is a vital concept for humanity to embrace as we navigate uncertain times due to anthropogenic climate change. Green Exploration is a research project to provide digestible resources to raise awareness of environmental issues throughout the greater Rockford metropolitan area, while discussing sustainable and equitable initiatives to curb the deep-rooted environmental and social injustices embedded within our society. It is time for us to take action— and the Rockford region is ready.
